After a spell in storage at ALtenbeken, 8015 was brought to Lehrte, east of Hannover.
It was purchased as part of the 150th anniversdary celebration of the Apotheke and
plinthed by the station carpark in Bahnhofstrasse. The cast metal
plaque tells the story and the lok details.
and in August 2004 was under cosmetic restoration.
Rebuilt from 52 3464 (Krauss Maffei 16590 of 1943 , rebuilt RAW Stendal in March 1961 ).
Note the cabside still shows its DR Bw as Dresden/Zittau
It was withdrawn to store from Bw Elsterwerda
(now demolished - 2000) in 1991 and sold in 1993 to Borchen GmbH
